Art
Life is a form of art.
We are all artists, painting our own masterpiece.
Every day we add something to our canvas.
As we get older, the stages of our lives become clearer, each having its own distinct shape and colors.
These stages then become small independent pieces of the greater image.
Our canvas collects these pieces as they come, forming clearly after the chapter has passed.
Every piece represents us for that particular period.
Our work, hobbies, friendships, relationships, love, loss, pain, passion, lessons.
Each having its own influence on us that shines through on the canvas.
Every action, decision, life event, only but a dash, line, or shade in the greater masterpiece of life.
We don’t always know what the greater picture is, so we just paint it as it comes.
Having clarity on the greater picture will help add definition and detail to the canvas.
But we don’t need to have it completely figured out.
We just need to keep painting, moving forward.
Stepping back for a moment, with distance from the details, we see it for what it is.
The best part is, if at any point we don’t like what we see, we can choose how we proceed.
We can choose to continue as it is.
Or with some creativity, transform it into something even more suitable and beautiful than before.
Art is subjective, so don’t worry about what others are painting, there is no rubric.
All that will remain is our masterpiece, so have careful intention with each brush stroke.
Let’s get creative now and make our masterpiece spectacular.
